Household ecological sewage treatment plant.

We offer you a product that is an effective solution to the problem of wastewater treatment. It consists of: small sewage treatment plant 2000l and larger version 3000l in the set or without. Correctly selected and well-made tanks are cheap and easy to use, and their operation time can be several dozen years (10-year manufacturer's warranty). Both the sewage treatment plant itself and other elements included in it are made of PEHD polyethylene with excellent hardness and chemical resistance, and the low weight of the settling tanks facilitates their transport and assembly. It is worth knowing that the sewage treatment plant is a permanent investment, which is supposed to bring ecological and economic benefits in the long run, moreover, their operation is possible in various climatic conditions.

Choosing the right settler.

One of the most important things we need to determine before buying a sewage treatment plant is its capacity. The tank should be chosen in such a way that it guarantees sewage retention for a minimum of three days. The capacity is calculated by multiplying the number of users by 150 liters (average daily water consumption per person). The tank capacity for a family of four is calculated as follows: 4 (people) x 150 (liters) x 3 (days) = 1,800 liters. The value obtained can be increased by a certain amount of capacity in relation to the planned number of users.

Advantages of a household sewage treatment plant:

Cheap cost of living

Operation of such a tank with standard use is limited only to the removal of sludge (once every 2 years), cleaning the filter and drainage (once every six months) and replenishing bacteria (on average once every 1-2 months)

Ecology

They purify water to the extent recommended by law. Waste water does not penetrate the soil and the surroundings of the house.

Durability

Very durable, resistant to atmospheric and chemical agents.

Low weight for easy transport and assembly.

The kit includes:

  • 200l or 3000l polyethylene tank
  • Distribution chamber - is the beginning of the drainage system, the closing chamber, on the other hand, ends drainage threads. The well should be cleaned (with water) regularly from sediments on the bottom by directing a stream of water to the center of the well under the mushroom.
  • Ventilation fireplace
  • drainage pipes fi 110-48mb
  • Puzolana - differently, filter material
  • User's book
  • Installation instructions

The principles of sewage treatment plant operation:

Stage one - purification - clay settler

In the first stage of treatment, substances insoluble in water are removed from the wastewater. Particles heavier than water fall to the bottom and form a sediment - this is a process of sedimentation. In the septic tank, light substances such as oils and fats are separated (flotation) forming the so-called sheepskin coats for heavier substances falling to the bottom of the tank (sedimentation) and forming sediments there. A foam is also created, also called fermentation process (under anaerobic conditions), substances contained in sewage. For this process to be effective it must last at least 3 days - hence the requirement for the correct tank capacity depending on the amount of treated wastewater. A properly made and operated settler allows for removal of up to 65% of suspended solids and 40% of BOD.

Second stage - cleaning - different systems

Pre-treated waste water flows through the filter for further treatment in the drainage drainage. Pre-treatment is obligatory in a septic tank (in other words: a septic tank is the only possible place for pre-treatment of wastewater in a household sewage treatment plant) - the cleaning stage can take place in various constructions, which aims to create optimal conditions for aerobic cleaning of sewage flowing out of the tank .

Infiltrating drainage

Infiltrating drainage is the simplest, most-used and sanitary safe solution. It is a system of drains arranged underground. The task of drainage is to evenly (spread over a large area) introduction into the system of pre-treated wastewater (65% treated) flowing from the septic tank. Drains allow infiltration of sewage in the ground over a large area and their purification by bacteria found in soil. They are purified thanks to biological sorption, i.e. the retention of chemical components with the participation of soil microorganisms and plant root systems.

Requirements for installing drainage:

a plot with an area that allows laying drains at the recommended distances

well-drained soil

groundwater level - at least 1.5m under drainage

maximum length of drainage thread 20m

gravity: 1.5%

The type of soil must have an adequate rate of seepage of sewage - not too fast, not too slow. Therefore, infiltration drainage must have a length proportional to the amount of wastewater and soil permeability.

Installation instructions.

Installation of the sewage treatment plant must be installed outdoors, as close as possible to the building, so as to avoid clogging of the sewer lines by fatty substances. Septic tank should be placed on a 10 cm sand base. The space between the settling tank and the walls of the excavation (approx. 30 cm) is filled with subsequent layers of backfill during foundation. The tank should be filled with water as it is being filled up. The silting indicator (basket) should be filled with pergola (filter material). The building should have a proper ventilation system: a pipe with a diameter of 110mm without major bends. The sewage treatment plant should be excluded from the rainwater drainage system.

Sewage treatment plant maintenance.

All system components should work properly to treat the wastewater as required. Therefore, care should be taken that the sewage treatment plant is properly operated and maintained by its users. Emptying the septic tank should take place after the so-called full condition. This means that when emptying the tank, top it up with clean water, as the tank should always be full. This allows for thorough rinsing of its interior and eliminates the risk of crushing an empty tank due to soil pressure.

Frequency and scope of maintenance activities of the sewage treatment plant:

Septic tank should be emptied every 2 to 4 years depending on the quality of operation (the more regularly a bacterial activator is used, the less often it will need to be cleaned).

Grease separator (degreaser): cleaning should take place once every 6 months.

A double dose of biopreparation should be added to the cleaned tank. This will help the bacterial environment to rebuild quickly and allow the treatment plant to operate immediately.
